Weeks Marine is looking for AB Seamen to ensure a safe, clean vessel for crew members on our operations. This role is responsible for various deck duties and keeping our operations on course through challenging environments, directly contributing to the success and timely completion of our marine construction and dredging projects.
- Daily pay rate starting at $379.20 for 12-hour shift
- Paid travel from home airport to work location and back (anywhere in the Continental U.S.).
- 21 days on/21 days off rotation
Job description/duties:
- Responsible for all aspects of line handling
- Perform regular vessel maintenance and proper housekeeping
- Stands wheel watch as needed to ensure safe navigation and operations
- Maintain vessel exterior performing painting or chipping as needed
- Ensure a clean sanitary environment aboard the vessel
- Assist the captain in checking and inspecting the vessel’s safety equipment
- Support to the engine room performance under the direction of the captain and/or engineer
- Maintain communication and presence on deck at all times while captain is operating controls
- Escort, observe and monitor the safety of all visitors, ensuring all individuals sign in and out
- Ensure all required credentials are up-to-date and appropriate for the vessel and the designated route
- Follow company and work site safety policies and procedures
- Paid travel from home airport to work location and back (anywhere in the Continental U.S.)
- Per diem paid for travel days: $45 per diem on travel day into assignment, $45 per diem plus 12 hours pay on travel day out from assignment
- Live on board
$2,100 Referral Bonus: Eligibility begins after the referred employee returns for their third rotation, $700 is paid per rotation until bonus is met.
Referral must be employed for the duration of bonus payout period.

- Possess all valid credentials and ensure they are within a minimum of six months from expiration

Valid Driver’s License, preferred
- Ability to push, pull, bend, or stand for long periods and climb ladders
