Responsibilities

• Perform safety oversight of construction activities and act as primary point of contact with customer/client/owner.
• Perform incident investigations and ensure OSHA, USCG, USACE and owner safety requirements are being met.
• Ensure site is in compliance with environmental requirements.
• Perform equipment inspections, train employees, direct activities of site safety officers, and other responsibilities as needed.

• 4 year degree in related field and OSHA 30 or 500 Certifications.
• 4-7 years experience in a heavy civil construction field. Marine construction a plus.
• Able to wear respirator, climb 30' vertical ladder, and enter & inspect confined spaces with 18" access.
• Must be computer literate.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a definite plus.
